Last month we held a social media competition for our followers, where anyone could nominate an individual or group to have a DIY makeover by our DecorAll team.
We were overwhelmed by the nominations we received and as a result, we decided to help two of our nominations.
Norah is 83 and battles Dementia and Multiple Sclerosis. In November, Norah’s bedroom caught fire and left much damage behind. DecorAll decorated Norah’s bedroom for her, giving it a much deserved makeover.
Our second nomination was 7 year old Leo. Leo is autistic and would love nothing more than to have his bedroom decorated and equipped for him as this is his safe place. We completely transformed Leo’s bedroom and went all out, giving him a new bed, decorations, curtains etc.
A special thank you to Richard Layden of Layden Contracts and Johnstons paints who seen our gesture on social media and came forward to support us, donating a new carpet and the paints for Leo’s bedroom. We love businesses supporting businesses.
