Every year, DecorAll like to see the year out by supporting a charity to give something back to the community.
This year, we are delighted to have chosen Chris’s House – Centre of Help, Response and Intervention Surrounding Suicide. This is a charity very close to our hearts.
Although Construction is a rewarding industry, there is a silent epidemic just now within the industry, with Construction workers facing mental health battles due to high pressures. Chris’s House is the perfect charity for us to show our support to these people.
We were delighted to have met with Chris’s House Founder, Anne Rowan yesterday to see first hand the work the charity does for those experiencing crisis and suicidal thoughts.
Chris’s House is a warm, welcoming 24/7 drop in House where anyone experiencing the above will be treated with dignity over a cup of tea or coffee, in a warm setting with a trained therapist.
We are delighted to be be offering our support to Chris’s House this Winter be decorating within the House to give it a fresh update. We will be sure to keep you updated.
